Experience the Chesapeake, together.
This Old Shore began by bringing the Chesapeake's stories to audiences online. In time, those stories will extend beyond the screen through guided experiences that invite people to explore the places, landscapes, and traditions that continue to shape life around the Bay.
Future offerings may include walking tours, interpretive hikes, guided cruises, behind-the-scenes museum experiences, and special programs developed in partnership with organizations across the region. Each experience will combine thoughtful storytelling, local history, and a deep sense of place—helping participants see familiar landscapes with new eyes.

Guided Walking Tours
Explore historic towns and waterfronts through the stories hidden in their streets, buildings, and landscapes.
Interpretive Hikes
Discover the Chesapeake's natural and cultural history along trails where ecology, history, and human experience intersect.
Heritage Cruises
Experience the Bay from the water while exploring its maritime traditions, working waterfronts, islands, and changing landscapes.
Special Programs
Seasonal events, lectures in the field, collaborative programs with museums and nonprofits, and other unique opportunities to experience the Chesapeake firsthand.
